Fáilte chuig suíomh idirlín Mhuintir an Chláir, Baile Átha Cliath. Welcome to the Clare Association, Dublin website.
Our aims are to bring Clare people in the capital together, to create links with Clare people further afield and to render, where possible, aid and co-operation to worthy undertakings, objects and causes in or associated with Co. Clare. The highlight of our year is the Clare Person of the Year Award which is presented at our annual dinner dance.
Aims and Objectives of the Association

2. To stimulate and increase in members a pride in their native county.
3. To foster cultural, social and economic interests of Clare people resident in Dublin.
4. To foster Gaelic games.
5. To render, where possible, aid and co-operation to worthy undertakings, objects and causes in or associated with Co. Clare.
6. To work towards the establishment of a Clare social centre in Dublin.
A Clare Association existed in Dublin in the 1930s but we have little information on the activities of the Association at the time other than its intermittent existence for about two decades. The present Association was re-constituted in 1959 and has functioned continuously ever since. As outlined in its membership rule book, Muintir an Chláir – Clare Association Dublin is a non-political and non-sectarian representative body of Clare men and women resident in Dublin and its outlying areas.
